My dog, Mungo, is a large Bearded Collie with a huge coat. I have tried several groomers in the area but Suzy at The Groom Room was the first to really deliver exactly what I wanted. She took the time to discuss my requirements and to get a feel for how I wanted Mungo to look. She and the team are great with the dogs - you can tell that they are dog lovers and Mungo gets very excited as soon as he realises that we are heading for the salon (a sure sign that they treat him very well during his visit). He used to be nervous of some other groomers but he just loves going there.
The salon itself is beautifully clean, tidy and totally professional looking (unlike some converted garden shed setups that I've seen!). Suzy's background in veterinary nursing is also very useful as she may spot potential problems that I have missed and has offered sound, practical medical advice about Mungo in the past. She has also proved to be extremely flexible (even rearranging Mungo's appointment at very short notice to fit him in before she went on holiday).
On top of all this, the Groom Room team do a wonderful job of making my dog look his absolute best. They are simply brilliant at what they do and I am always delighted with the results they achieve. The service is second to none and every member of the team is very friendly and easy to deal with. I have no hesitation in recommending The Groom Room to anyone - your dog will be very well looked after and will come back looking and smelling great!

Muzzy is a Mini Schnauzer, she is 6 years old and has been going to the Groom Room since she was a puppy. She loves going to the Groom Room where she is pampered and adored. Muzzy gets very excited if Suzy's name is mentioned at home and when we arrive outside the shop she can't wait to go in. She comes out looking beautiful and smelling gorgeous. The salon staff are always very happy and polite.
I would recommend the Groom Room to anyone who adores their dog and wants them looking and smelling the best.

As you know I have been coming to The Groom Room since the day you opened at home. You always did an excellent job there and the excellent service has continued into your shop.
I was let down by my previous groomer before I came to you and did have a few concerns but you answered all of my questions and looked after Shep and Fudge so well.When the shop opened 3 years ago I was a bit worried by someone else doing my pet dogs but there was no need to be. Your whole team are professional, courteous, and the best thing for me is that they are happy dogs when leaving the Groom Room, once again, thank you and to all your staff!
